Fish Amaze Me
Did you ever know a huge 3ft Muskie could come out of a lake so small it's not even on the map? Or have you thought of fish canableizing it's own minnow? These fish are quite spectacular and they amaze me. These are some times fish amaze me.

On a day in april my Dad and me went fishing to a small pond off of a street called prince. It was a fairly small pond I would never imagine something big would come out of it. But that all changed when a man started fishing. He was fishing all over the place. When he was about half way across the lake something hit his line. He was cranking and pulling on the fish on the end of his line. Finally after about 1minute of reeling the fish. He landed the fish, it was big 2 lb bass. I thought it would be impossible for a fish that big to come out of a small pond like the one off of Prince st.

Croppies are interesting because they canableize their own kind. They eat their small fry. They also bite baitfish and luers made to look like themselves! Croppies generaly live in ponds aand have been seen hunting their own kind at dawn or dusk. This is interesting because not many other fish have this canableizing habit.

Back on a summer day 3 years ago in minnisota Dad was fishing for blue gills. He caught as much as 20 blue gills with grasshopers. He even used a bare hook. He told me one day that he loves catching bluegills and would love to go again. Another time this happened to Dad was in his very neiborhood. He was at a pond off of prince st. Almost the same situation happened here as in Minnisota he caught at least 20 bluegills and he used a bare hook and caught a bluegill.

This is important because fishing is a very important event in my life and I love it. Thats why Fish Amaze Me.

Catching Blue Gills and Bass
“Dad, mom I'll be fishing on Uncle Mikes friends dock.” “Okay, have fun!” said mom. When I got on the dock I saw tons of blue gills and other sunfish bolting away from the dock. When I got to the end of the dock I baited my hook and tossed it in, preaty soon bam! A sunfish hit, it was a beeutiful fish with a bright orange belly and spiny fins. After a while my dad ccame down the dock with luers in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. I knew he was going to fish for bass so as soon as he got to my spot I took off my hook and put on a luer pretty soon BAM! I got a bass I was cranking and realing it in it was so exciting. When I finally brought it in, I said “can we keep it dad?” “No, where are you going to put it?” Well I gess I should let it go. So I bent down with one hand on the belly of the fish and the other hand grasping the the tail. I let go, the fish imeadietly swam into the dark merky water of the lake I thought well theres more bass to catch... “Nick it's time to get ready for bed!” Yelled a voice. As I walked back I thought maybe I'll catch some more bass tomarow.
